Over the past ten years of being a photographer, Kristy has developed her signature style to be artfully romantic and ethereal with an editorial edge.

Her approach is warm and gentle, she understands that beauty exists in honesty and intimate moments are their most charming when uninterrupted. So while her work has an editorial edge, the vast majority is Kristy photographing your day in a documentary way - as it naturally unfolds.

I found a fondness for photography in my mid 20’s. We lived on Bondi Beach, and I began enjoying photographing the coastal sunrise there. This passion developed quickly and I found myself photographing families and births during maternity leave from a corporate position. 

After shooting my first wedding, I knew right away I would never go back to the corporate world.

In the early days of my photography journey capturing births and families, I was inspired by low light and making photos that honestly portrayed connections between people in love. Over time, weddings really came to the forefront of what I wanted to shoot. These incredible days incorporated dreamy aesthetics, heartfelt moments of connection, anticipation, planning and so much joy.

Ten years later, I am now privileged to photograph 25 weddings a year, as well as the beauty of everyday family life. I live in the beautiful Gippsland region of Victoria in Australia, with my husband and two young children.
